Early Care and Education Training and Consulting is proud to offer you the opportunity to get the training requirements needed to obtain your Texas Director Credential.

We are currently accepting registration for our 5-day Credential Course trainings.

The course is recognized by Texas Child Care Licensing and is designed to help you acquire the knowledge required to meet minimum standards for Directors as mandated by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

  • Class meets Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm
  • Participants must attend all 5 days.
  • No absences are allowed.
  • (Lunch is donated each day by our sponsors for in-person participants)

Cost is $595.00 per person

*Requirements for Virtual Learning

In order to participate in our virtual class, the following requirements must be met by each participant.

  • Participant must have a working computer with camera and sound.
  • Participant must have reliable internet.
  • Participant must be fully focused on the class and must be free from other assignments and duties. You cannot be in your car or mobile. The assumption is that you are sitting in the classroom with the instructor. Absolutely no exceptions are made to this requirement.
  • Participant must be free from other distractions, such as children and/or caring for other individuals.
  • Participant must be signed into each webinar for the entire length of the course with their camera on. Partial participation is not allowed.
  • Participant is required to participate in conversations, questions and polls.
  • Attendance will be taken randomly throughout the course. Participant must acknowledge their presence when called upon.
  • Participant must participate using their computer. Attendance via phone is not allowed.

Participants who do not comply with the requirements above will be asked to reschedule for a later date or expelled from class. No refunds will be given to participants who do not comply with these requirements.

Registration deadline for the Virtual Class is one-week prior to the start of class in order for your course work and materials to be shipped to you. Any registration recieved within one week your course work will be emailed to you and the participant will be responsible for printing the material, or you will have the option to pay for overnight shipping.

Lunch is not donated during the virtual course.

OR if the minimum number of participants is not met. If Early Care and Education cancels the class, a full refund will be given.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF PARTICIPANTS CANCEL
Registered participants must cancel 2 weeks prior to the start date of class and will receive credit towards any classes or training modules available at tymthetrainer.com.

  2. To develop well-qualified, trained, and experienced individuals who have a passion for children and who have the necessary administrative, educational, and technical skills to direct and care for a licensed child care center or school.
